The Thorne Labs solution is a data-driven diagnostic solution that uses a 365-degree view of a patients health to:
* Empower patients to track their health over time by providing the most comprehensive health risk assessment and biometric
screening currently available.
* Support providers to ease the burden of healthcare data collection and create a deep understanding of a patients health by
integrating best-in-class measurement tools and data visualization.
* Enable researchers with longitudinal multi-scale health data enabling discoveries linking health metrics, interventions, and
outcomes. Innovate healthcare delivery by aiding developers to develop, validate, and deploy products and services that solve real
patient problems.
The Thorne Labs solution uses a broad set of health indicators to accomplish these goals by measuring the patient from a 360° view, including the patients’:
* Demographics
* Family medical history
* Medications
* Mental health
* Nutrition
* Physical activity
* Sleep
* Social history
* Vital signs
* Blood chemistry – Point of care analysis measuring electrolytes, kidney function, liver function, and cholesterol.
* 3D body surface for anthropometrics or body geometry (lengths, circumferences, areas, and volumes)
* Body Composition Analysis – Analysis of fat, muscle, and water percentages in a persons body — all factors profoundly impact
patient health.
* Cognition – mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses,
including executive function, attention, cognitive flexibility, and memory.
* Strength – measuring the capacity of a muscle to produce the tension and power necessary for posture and effective movement.
* Dexterity – measuring finger coordination and object manipulation.
* Balance – measuring the patients ability to orient the body in space and maintain an upright posture under static and dynamic
conditions.
Upon conclusion of a 70-minute patient visit, practitioners visually present the assessment results. The patient and provider discuss the results and collaboratively identify actionable insights, behavior, and lifestyle interventions or other medical follow-ups as may be required (e.g., high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and other health indicators).
The patient leaves Thorne Labs with an identified and agreed-upon action plan.
